i stayed here while visiting the area and I'll start by saying Edwardo @the front desk was very friendly. The rooms were clean and the ac was cold.... Fridge and microwave was a plus... This place has a very nostalgic feel ..HEB grocery was next door and restaurants abound... ....i would stay here again....‼.....
Staff are friendly, maintenance come quickly when needed. Motor hotel from the 50's so it's a bit run down, but they are re-decorating, replacing as needed. It's a good rate especially when you factor in there's no deposit. This place has a history!

when I first moved to San Antonio until recently, I've stayed here. for the better part of the past two years. management is wonderful and they worked with me so much, even when I didn't deserve it. on a non personal note-- the place is super cool and historic. I think it's been around since 1950 something. just a cool tid bit about it. the sign is actually what made me want to stay here. just ask and they'll tell you all about it :)) I always shoot people this way. definitely my favorite place!
Really nice room, I felt safe having the hallway that my son and his mother were in was locked with a keypad code. Only problem was that there was ants but that was because my son dropped fried chicken crumbs all over the floor. Other than that it was a great stay for them.

My husband and I have been staying here a while. they have good weekly deals and good coffee. No breakfast but they have a microwave and plates and plastic wear for community in the office
